"Hi Daddddyyyyy!!!"

Natalie has been such a crazy verbal baby lately that I had to dedicate a post to her and all the fun things she has been saying. When I say she repeats anything you say...it's true! She A-DORES her big bro too. She walks around the house lately..."EEE-an....Eeeeeeee-an". She has also been putting 2-3 words together..."Hi Daddy", "I don't know", "no more", "Mommy hug", "where are u"...It's pretty incredible! However, the UN-incredible thing that she is doing on a regular basis is body slamming our cat. And I DO mean body-slamming. She will go up to the cat and just put her belly on top of the cat and just fall with all her weight resulting in a flat, meowing, cat. Ahhhh the life of an 18 mo-old independent girl!! She is keeping our lives very interesting and full, that's for sure!!

Tiny Prints Christmas Cards!

It's that time of year again--Christmas card time!!! As you all know, I LOVE to do Christmas cards. It's a great way to keep in touch with people and to send a greeting of the season! My favorite of all the options for Christmas Cards is TinyPrints. They do an amazing job, have incredible designs and are just  a great resource for any card printing really! I have printed invitations with them, Christmas cards and general greeting cards. All have been done on time (if not early!) and have been outstanding quality.

Here are some of my favorites from this year's TinyPrints Catalog...check them out! You won't be sorry that you bought your cards from TinyPrints for Christmas this year!

LOVE the simplicity of this card! It's adorable! Plus, you know me and stripes and/or polkadots?!?!
Great card for one super cute picture on the front!
Love this for a good collage of pictures from the year!

What is cuter than this bright and cheery card?? Very sweet!

I encourage you to checkout TinyPrints Special Offers page here.

What better time to kick-start our blog than now??

There have been so many new things that have happened over the past several months. Mike started his new job (yay!) and is loving it!! Ethan is almost 4--HOW is that even possible?!?!? And Natalie Gianna is 18 mos old today! Time is flying by and we are loving life!!

So many new things the kids are doing. Ethan loves his baby sister and is extremely protective of her (most of the time!). And Natalie constantly calls for "Eeeeeeeeeeee" when she wakes up from bedtime and naps. She LOVES Ethan and wants nothing more than to be up in his grill all. day. long. Isn't this the job of little sisters though? :) At naptime, Ethan says..."Natalie, do you want to come into my bed and snuggle" and Natalie either says "yesh" or shakes her head yes. So I lift her up into his bed and she lays on him and just snuggles. It. KILLS. me!!! It's definitely one of those mental snapshot times, for sure. One of these days, I will actually get a picture of it to add here.

Natalie has been repeating pretty much any word you say...she is very verbal and will answer questions with a "yesh" or "no" when asked...and let me tell you she DOES have an opinion about mostly everything!! She also will color and hold a marker the right way...whaaaaat??? She seems to really enjoy creative things though and especially enjoys trying to sneak a bite of playdough when mama isn't looking. She even gives you super shifty eyes when she is about to do something she shouldn't. Mike and I constantly say...we are gonna be in trouble with this one!!

Ethan is loving his 3's class in preschool. He is the "grown-up" of the class according to his teachers. He leads the kids on free play and tends to be the one inventing games to play on the playgrounds that everyone ends up playing. He is such a little adult at times but also such a sweet and loveable little boy too who loves being a KID! He loves to get rough and tumble with anyone really, adores sports and pretty much always wants to play baseball rain or shine.

We have been enjoying fall in our household, picking leaves, collecting acorns for "our squirrels" that come into our yard, playing outside, making cookies, inventing new games inside AND outside and just overall enjoying life.

As we patiently wait for the new iMac to come out (come on Apple!!!!), our pictures continue to be in 3 places and terribly disorganized so needless to say, it is tough to upload them!! However, here are some pics from our summer vacation. At least this give a little update on them!

Natalie is baptized!

Natalie is baptized!! She was 12 weeks and 1 day on her baptism day (July 10, 2011). She looked like an angel. We had lots of friends and family come to the baptism and it was a very special day--perfect weather and just all around a wonderful day and weekend. Thanks to everyone who made it to the baptism and/or party!! We loved having you all!

MORE updates!

So I am still trying to catch up from our blog hiatus so here are more pics. I think I am going to start just adding a picasa link because that will be easier! haha :) Only other update I forgot to mention is Mike's promotion! Mike got his boss's job at work--a very big deal! I could not be more proud of him. He has about 50 people on his team now and lots more responsibility. He is liking the new challenge!

Click here for more pictures (I couldn't fit them all on this page!)

Happy 4th of July with the Hulens (TJ is Ethan's most favorite person, if he had his way, he would be super glued to him!)

"Watermelon Man..." Ethan Loves his watermelon and Nana and Pap sing him the song "Watermelon Man..." which Ethan has started to sing now too!

Natalie's first picnic! We took Ethan to the new Splashpark and then had a picnic after--VERY fun!! Mike took the day off, which was the best part!

Natalie showing off her new sunglasses from Grams!

This pics are out of order, but the photo uploader is so annoying on the blog that I am just leaving it! Here's Ethan going in his pool for the first time this summer.

SO many updates!

Hello hello! We are back to blogging--I took a little break for a while, but here we are back by popular demand :) It's been so long since my last update so I have a lot to cover in this one. Both kids are doing great! They are such sweet sweet kids and we could NOT be more proud of them. We are totally into a groove these days and are just loving life and enjoying the summer! It's been a BUSY one!! So here we go for updates:

Natalie is almost 15 weeks old! Tomorrow actually, she will be 15 weeks. She rolled over for the first time at 8 weeks and has done it here and there since (belly to back). Now she is working on going from back to belly. She laughs out loud a ton (that started at about 10 weeks), she grabs just about anything and puts it right in her mouth. She discovered her feet and hands around 10 weeks too and she has been actually trying to sit up already! When you sit her in your lap with her back to you, she leans up to sitting all on her own. She started sitting in the bumbo too and loves that. She also has found her voice--she babbles and coos and screams too (in excitement). Overall--she is a very chill baby. She kinda just goes with the flow! I can't believe how fast she is growing up though! My goodness...it goes so much faster with the second baby. Oh and the other thing that she does is when she is on her belly--she more or less scoots...she will actually get from one side of a playmat to the other and move in a complete circle too. Very funny to watch. She also recognizes her name now too when you call her and recognizes voices too. She's a doll! We (okay...well, maybe not we but me...haha) have loved dressing her up. My mom's group friends say she is the best dressed 3 mo old! I have to agree!!

Ethan is such a SWEEEEEEET and polite AND happy 2 1/2 yr old. I have actually had mom's ask me what I do at home to make him so polite! I drop him off at coop every Friday and the girls working last week were like..."I want to take him home with me!!" I guess during snack he said..."may I please have more pretzels?" and then said "thank you" when they gave him more. He is my little buddy. He is SOOO hysterical too. Here are a few Ethan-isms that we love....

"whobody"--we say somebody, nobody, etc. so why not whobody?!?! He says this when asking me who something belongs to.
"fart car"--smart car
"hello gorgeous" --he started to saying this to Natalie...LOL
"ipods"--edamame pods :)
"see you later--I have to go whole foods...get some stuff" (putting my purse on and daddy's shoes...Mike isn't terribly pleased about the purse!)
"I love Giada--she's pretty" (sometimes we put on the cooking show while I nurse Natalie...Ethan has fallen in love with Giada!"
"Let's talk a little bit..." there have been times that he has said this that we are in tears laughing so hard...
"nice to meet you" (plus a handshake) After Natalie's baptism party...he saw my brother saying nice to meet you to some people...so after the party the next day at dinner he reached out his hand and said..."nice to meet you mommy, nice to meet you Nana...etc" VERY funny!
"What's your order? Coming up one minute!" Taking food orders to make in the kitchen--he actually adds salt and pepper like Giada does on the show...LOL.
"let's rock and roll people..." I put Ethan in the stroller and was packing the basket underneath and getting ready to go...and he said this to me. I was dumbfounded and in stitches!

There are SO many more as you can imagine--but there are a couple for your reading enjoyment! We are still working on potty training...taking it slow. It has been really driven by him so far...he is doing well with it...but we still have a while to go!

Here are some pics lately so you can see what we've been up to! We've had lots of visitors and have been keeping very busy. We are headed to FL in the end of August for vacation--can't wait!!
